Economic Commission Italy-China (CEM), the bilateral Business and Dialogue Forum (Verona, 11-12 April) and an event celebrating the travel writer who shocked medieval Europe, Marco Polo, and relations between Italy and China, which will take place on 11 April at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. The events will be attended by Chinese Trade Minister Wang Wentao. The Italy-China Joint Economic Commission (CEM) is the main instrument of cooperation with China in economic and trade matters and is included in the dialogue mechanisms of the Global Strategic Partnership established in 2004. Since 2019, the CEM has been coordinated and organised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and takes place at ministerial level.

The Italy-China Business and Dialogue Forum aims to offer a forum for dialogue and promotion of economic cooperation in areas identified as priorities, also covered by the agenda of the CEM (agritech, e-commerce, investment, pharmaceutical and biomedical). In addition to Minister Tajani and Minister Wentao, representatives of ICE, Confindustria and its Chinese counterparts members of the Technical Secretariat of the Business Forum, as well as representatives of the internationalization pole (SACE, SIMEST, CDP) and a qualified selection of Italian and Chinese companies. https://youtu.be/4fso35fDcdM?feature=shared
