Rome/Vienna [ENA] The 2019 Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC), organized by the Slovak OSCE Chairmanship, will take place from 25 to 27 June 2019 in Vienna, under the motto “For People, Dialogue and Stability: Strengthening Comprehensive Security in the OSCE Area”. The OSCE has a comprehensive approach to security that includes politico-military, economic and environmental, and human aspects.

It consequently focuses on a wide range of security-related affairs, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter-terrorism and economic and environmental activities. Bringing together diplomats and officials from national capitals in Vienna, this annual high-level OSCE conference offers a forum for a deep and wide-ranging discussion on current security threats and challenges for Europe and the role of the OSCE in effectively addressing them.
