Azzurra Sandrini, from Mantua, is Missblumare 2024

The podium was completed by Miriam Bongiorni, from Tuscany, in second place and Letizia Perfetto from Campania in third. The 45 finalists came from all the Italian regions and were selected by the regional partners of the contest during the more than 200 local stages starting from February until September. Beauty but not only: bearing, education, natural talents in various sports and dance disciplines, elegance; here are the characteristics required to participate with a chance of success in this competition, now in its 16th edition and which has the unique feature of holding the national final on board a splendid cruise ship of the MSC fleet during an entire week of sailing.

Photoshoot in Tarragona

This year the beauty contest left from Genoa with Marseille and Tarragona as its destination. Here the Misses were sent to do a photoshoot with the clothes of the designer “Annamà Creations”, in the historic center of the town belonging to the autonomous community of Catalonia. The cruise then continued to Valencia, the third city in Spain by number of inhabitants, after Madrid and Barcelona. Here too the Misses took part in numerous photoshoots wearing the clothes of “Annamà Creations” and of the “Centro Formazione Moda” of Pisa and arousing curiosity and interest among the many tourists and inhabitants of the historic center.

Azzurra Sandrini: Missblumare 2024

The day of sailing only that allowed the ship to reach Livorno, was characterized by some technical tests and the grand final held in the majestic theater “L’Avanguardia”, in front of numerous spectators. After a series of artistic shows and fashion shows with the sponsors' clothes, we arrived at the long-awaited awards ceremony during which the outgoing Missblumare, Laila Cabret, passed the crown and scepter to the young Azzurra Sandrini who, very excited, posed for a long time in front of photographers, the public and video operators with eyes shining with happiness.

The Missblumare competition never stops: starting next week the regional partners will already begin the selections for the 2025 season which will culminate next October with another dream cruise for the lucky Miss finalists.
